Collins Jumaisi Khalusha Admits to Serial Killings of 42 Women in Kware
Collins Authorities have arrested Jumaisi Khalusha, a 33-year-old from Vihiga County, in connection with the gruesome murders found at the Kware dumpsite in Mukuru kwa Njenga, Embakasi South Constituency.
At a club in Kayole, authorities apprehended Khalusha, suspected of multiple killings. Authorities found him in possession of numerous SIM cards and believe he wrapped the victims’ bodies in polythene bags before discarding them at the dumpsite.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Director Mohamed Amin revealed that Khalusha confessed to murdering 42 women between 2022 and July 11, 2024.
His first victim was his wife, Imelda Judith Khalenya, whom he strangled and dismembered before dumping her remains at the site. Khalusha detailed how he lured and killed his victims, then disposed of their bodies in a consistent manner.

The forensic analysis of a mobile phone belonging to one of the victims, Josephine Owino, facilitated Khalusha’s arrest.
Police officers from the DCI and the National Police Service (NPS) conducted a joint operation and apprehended him outside a club where he was watching the Euro 2024 football finals. Following his arrest, Khalusha led officers to his single-room house near the dumpsite.
