Residents of Mathioya Constituency in Murang’a stormed Nyakianga Primary School in protest over what a grade 7 pupil is said to have been doing to his fellow students.
The student, Joseph Macharia, is accused of owning a knife which he would use to lure the victims into a classroom and do the henious acts. He would then threaten them if they dared report him.
parents also revealed that the student was as a bully as he would demand money, oil and even sugar with a threat of using the knife if his demands were not met.
Police had to come to the rescue of the student and even the headteacher as he was also accused of laxity in dealing with the matter.
The parents accuse the headteacher and his wife of leading the children astray as the students allegedly are said to learn from them.
The police arrested the student and were able to recover the knife. Also in possession was a phone which is said to have been used to take pictures of his victims.
