    KPLC Announces Areas in 2 Major Counties to Face Power Outages on Sunday

    KPLC Announces Areas in 2 Major Counties to Face Power Outages on Sunday

    Areas in two counties have been identified by Kenya Power as experiencing a power outage on Sunday, March 2.

    Kenya Power claimed in a statement on X that the outage was a result of network maintenance.

    The counties that would be impacted include Kisumu and Nairobi.

    Nairobi County will experience disruptions from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Nairobi

    The following locations will experience the disruption:

    Metro Concept Plastics, Tecno Tanks, Synresins, Rok Industries, Wel Rods Gases, and Advance Plastics are located along portions of Lunga Road and Wundanyi Road.

    Additional locations include Makadara Railways Workshop, Halar Industries, Uzuri Foods, Uzuri Manufacturers, Budget Shoes, and nearby clients.

    Kisumu

    The following locations in Kisumu will have a power outage:

    Rose Garden, Koru Market, Kapsamwe, Bishop Okoth, Kaptuyet, Kadenge Booster, Ushirika, Kotetini, Mariwa, Kapkluben Coffee, and nearby clients are all part of Muhoroni Town Mtwara.

    The disruption is scheduled to occur from 8.30 am until 5 pm.
