Raila Odinga, the former Prime Minister, has stated that he will accept the results of the elections for chairperson of the African Union Commission.
The ex-prime minister is competing for the AUC chair position, with voting scheduled for Saturday, February 15.
If he lost the election, Raila stated he would return home graciously.
With the term of current AUC chair Moussa Faki coming to a close, Raila is counting on backing from African leaders to obtain the role.
He mentioned that various leaders from Africa had motivated him to pursue the position.
