Ruto explained that his understanding of the roads in Central, Western, and other regions of Kenya is identical to that of the highways in Northern Kenya.
“I know a fair amount of places. Ruto stated, “I would describe the roads in Northern Kenya in the same manner that I would describe the roads in Central Kenya, Western Kenya, and many other regions of Kenya.”
The Head of State claims that part of his leadership and duty is being aware of the infrastructure of the country.
“I applied for this position, and this is my job. Ruto clarified, “To consider the nation, to know what to do, where to do it, and to ensure that no part of Kenya is left behind.”
He continued by saying that his goal is still to guarantee fair growth for all area of the nation.
Ruto’s announcement of the road extension project caused a stir on the internet during his most recent tour of Northern Kenya.
Memes were widely shared on social media by Kenyans, especially after Ruto quickly listed several locations along the route.
Speaking in Nairobi on Wednesday, he dismissed Kenyans’ criticism of his pledges, saying that although some may consider them to be jokes, he is still dedicated to completing the 750-kilometer project.
According to him, tarmacking this important road is essential to guaranteeing the fair allocation of national resources.
“I am committed to delivering the 750km road from Isiolo to Mandera because, for a very long time, we have left Northern Kenya behind,” Ruto declared.
He warned opponents who doubt his ability to keep his pledges, cautioning them not to take their jokes too far, as they might be in for a harsh shock.
“Let me tell you, my good people, sometimes we treat life-and-death issues in this country like they are a joke,” Ruto said.
He acknowledged the great responsibility Kenyans have placed on him to change the country and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to national development.
