A man’s lifeless body was discovered along the Southern Bypass, and Kiambu police have opened an investigation into possible foul play in his death.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has started looking into whether the man was pushed, fell, or leaped to his death, according to Kabete DCIO Winnie Kendah.
“We promise the public that we will carry out investigations to determine whether he truly fell or whether there may have been foul play in the deceased’s death,” the DCIO told reporters on Tuesday.
According to the police, locals discovered the body of the man, who was thought to be around 36 years old, and alerted the police to the area.
The man fell from the service lane of the Southern Bypass to the other side of the road, according to the DCIO’s early investigations.
The DCIO stated, “We believe the deceased actually suffered head injuries after falling from the service lane in the Southern Bypass and landing on the opposite side of the road, which is about 20 meters from the higher side of the service lane.”
According to the family’s identification of the man’s bones, he lived in Kabete.
In order to await an autopsy, his body was sent to the mortuary of PCEA Thogoto Hospital.
According to a family member who confirmed the incident to the media, the police have promised the family prompt investigations.
The county’s Wangige, Kibiku, residents say the neighborhood has become unsafe due to an increase in thefts.
